Gujarat ACB arrests Chief Fire Officer Anil Kumar Maru for accepting bribe to issue Fire NOC.

Gujarat's Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested Chief Fire Officer Anil Kumar Maru of Rajkot Municipal Corporation for accepting a Rs 1.80 lakh bribe in exchange for issuing a Fire No Objection Certificate (NOC) for a building. The ACB set up a trap at Maru's office, where he was caught accepting the remaining bribe amount. This arrest comes after the previous arrest of Ilesh Kher for alleged negligence in a massive fire incident at TRP Game Zone in May.
