The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) completed an Environmental Assessment (EA) for potential offshore wind energy development off Oregon's coast, concluding that issuing leases would have no significant adverse impacts on people or the environment. BOEM plans to hold an Oregon offshore wind energy lease sale later this year, with a final sale notice published 30 days in advance.
