South Australia's Liberal Party has elected Vincent Tarzia as its new leader, replacing David Speirs who resigned due to leadership speculation. Tarzia, a 37-year-old MP, won with 18 votes out of 22, with former speaker Josh Teague receiving 4 votes. Tarzia has previously served in Steven Marshall's one-term government and will now focus on regaining political ground for the Liberals, who have held power only once in the past two decades.
