The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the circumstances. In a separate incident, a fatal head-on collision occurred in Jones County, Texas, resulting in one death and two injuries. A Volkswagen SUV, attempting to overtake a Ford truck, collided with a Chevrolet truck, killing the 21-year-old Volkswagen driver.
