U.S. Forest Service firefighter injured by tree during Coffee Can Saddle Fire in Idaho.
A U.S. Forest Service firefighter was injured after being struck by a tree while battling the Coffee Can Saddle Fire in the Nez Perce National Forest's Salmon River Ranger District in Idaho. The firefighter was initially transported to Lewiston's St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center and later moved to Spokane's Sacred Heart Medical Center. The firefighter's condition and identifying information remain undisclosed.
