2 U.S. Congressmen, Mike Flood (R-NE) & Troy Carter (D-LA), introduced the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Information Act. The bipartisan bill directs the U.S. Energy Information Administration to include Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAFs) in their data sets, providing stakeholders with clarity on SAF production development and supporting a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. Several industry leaders, including the Renewable Fuels Association and National Corn Growers Association, support the bill, which they believe will ensure transparency, track industry progress, and help scale up production of cleaner transportation solutions.
