University of Newcastle receives approval for $22M nursing school project, converting ICT building's level two into a 3,500-sqm space for School of Nursing and Midwifery.
The University of Newcastle has received approval for a $22 million nursing school project, converting the ICT building's level two into a 3,500-square-metre space for its School of Nursing and Midwifery. The project, to be completed by mid-next year, will result in a loss of 141 parking spaces, mainly staff spaces. The rebranded Health Education Research Building will feature modern teaching spaces and simulation labs for health studies, with the university anticipating a small net reduction in parking demands due to decreased on-site parking demand.
