Shell plans to invest in the second phase of Surat gas project in Queensland, Australia, operated by a joint venture Arrow Energy with Shell and PetroChina. The project includes 450 production wells, new infrastructure, and supplies gas to Shell's QCLNG LNG facility near Gladstone. Expected to contribute 22,400 barrels per day at peak production, first gas is expected in 2026.
