The NSW Reconstruction Authority holds community engagement sessions for the $40m Central West Resilient Homes Program, seeking expanded criteria and feedback.

The NSW Reconstruction Authority held community engagement sessions to gather feedback for the $40m Central West Resilient Homes Program, aimed at building stronger, safer communities through flood resilience measures. The program includes grants for raising and retrofitting, home rebuilds, and relocations. Federal Member for Calare, Andrew Gee, has called for expanded criteria in the program, arguing that the current ones are too restrictive. Community feedback will be used to finalize the program, which is part of the $100m Central West Recovery and Resilience Package, jointly funded by Australian and NSW governments.
