Motorist killed in North Carolina floodwaters after Tropical Storm Debby.

A motorist was killed in North Carolina after driving into floodwaters during Tropical Storm Debby's aftermath. Flooding continues to pose a threat in the region, with more rain forecasted over the next few days. The National Weather Service has issued flood alerts across North and South Carolina, and numerous flood warnings and watches are in effect. At least eight people were killed by Debby as it made landfalls in Florida and South Carolina.
