The Miami Dolphins have activated edge rusher Jaelan Phillips from the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list after a nine-month Achilles recovery. Phillips, 25, who suffered the tear in November, is now eligible for practice and expected to be ready for the season-opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Dolphins' defense will benefit from his return, but care will be taken not to rush him back into full action.
