The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has created a 10-member expert committee, led by Deputy Governor Michael Debabrata Patra, to enhance the quality of data it shares and ensure it meets international standards. The committee, with members from institutions like the OECD, BIS, and RBI, will recommend ways to improve data quality and submit its report by November 2024.
