On July 6, two individuals attempted to set fire to Gold Blade Barbershop in Gungahlin, Canberra. CCTV footage revealed the suspects breaking into the store and attempting to ignite the premises using accelerant, but one offender accidentally caught fire and escaped with a fellow accomplice on bicycles. Police are treating the incident as a targeted arson attack and urge the public to help identify the suspects. The fire caused significant damage to the barbershop.
