Google has gained planning permission from Dublin City Council to convert a unit at its Boland's Mill campus into a pub, sparking local resident concerns over noise, disruption, and safety risks. The tech company contends that the pub could enhance the area's vitality and attractiveness, and the proposed pub operator, Animal Collective, also plans to operate a food market within the campus. The decision may be subject to an appeal to An Bord Pleanála.
