Former CFMEU Victoria secretary John Setka unveiled a new tattoo reading "GOD FORGIVES THE CFMEU DOESNT" after stepping down amidst corruption accusations. The tattoo is a popular saying among the Construction, Forestry, and Maritime Employees Union, and Setka retired ahead of schedule due to ongoing allegations of corruption and bikie infiltration. The allegations have been referred to the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission and Victoria Police. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has condemned Setka's conduct, calling for it to be stamped out. Setka has been the Victorian-Tasmanian CFMEU secretary since 2012 and has spent nearly 40 years in prominent union roles.
