Foreign investors withdrew a record $15 billion from China during the second quarter, marking the second time the figure has become negative since 1990. The decrease is linked to slowing economic growth, geopolitical tensions, and Beijing's efforts to attract foreign investment not being effective. Chinese outbound investment, however, hit a record $71 billion in the second quarter.
