Glasgow is expected to be announced as the host city for the 2026 Commonwealth Games, with a budget of £130-150 million and a scaled-back 11-day competition featuring around 10 sports. The Commonwealth Games Federation will contribute £100 million, while remaining funds come from ticket sales, sponsorships, and broadcasting. Glasgow previously hosted the Games in 2014.
