Chinese automaker Chery will launch its electric vehicle Omoda E5 in Australia in September, featuring two variants with competitive pricing. Offering a seven-year unlimited km vehicle warranty and an eight-year unlimited km battery warranty, the Omoda E5 includes 18 intelligent driving assist functions, a full-sized spare wheel and DC fast charger capability, charging from 30% to 80% in under 30 minutes. Vehicle-to-load (V2L) technology is being developed for the Australian market.
