BOC and DA intercepted 1,208.5 kg of unauthorized agricultural products from Japan at NAIA on Aug 8-9.

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) and Department of Agriculture (DA) intercepted over 1,208.5 kilos of unauthorized agricultural products from Japan at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Aug 8-9. The shipments included fresh beef, chicken, eggs, fruits, veg, and seafood without import and health permits. Seized items were handed to relevant authorities under DA for disposal, while BOC-NAIA district collector Yasmin Mapa warned importers to secure necessary permits.
