On 9 Aug, a stolen van carrying a large amount of alcohol on M1 motorway near Nottinghamshire was stopped using a Stinger device. Two suspects fled, but a police dog found one. A 31-year-old man was arrested on theft charges, later released on bail. The stolen alcohol was recovered. Police praised the teamwork of all involved.
