24-year-old man drowns at Toledo Bend Lake; search suspended for night, resumes Sunday.
24-year-old man went underwater while swimming in Toledo Bend Lake and failed to resurface at 4:30 PM on Saturday. The search for the suspected drowning victim has been suspended for the night and will resume on Sunday morning. Emergency crews led by the Newton County Sheriff's Office are conducting the search effort. No additional information about the victim has been released.
