27-year-old former USD 232 school district employee, Kassidy Alexander, faces charges of unlawful sexual relations involving alleged consensual sexual intercourse with a student aged 16 or older between July 25, 2022, and March 2024. The school district became aware of the investigation in May, leading to her suspension and subsequent resignation. Alexander posted a $75,000 bond and made her first court appearance on August 8.
