37-year-old inmate Desmond Taylor escaped from UTMB Victory Lakes hospital during medical treatment after being arrested for assault family violence with previous convictions. Taylor fled at 1:02 a.m. on Sunday and the circumstances of his escape are unclear. Police are searching for him and have released a description, asking anyone with information to contact the League City Police Department.
