St. Cloud's University Bridge, which crosses the Mississippi River near St. Cloud State, has reopened after a month-long closure due to reconstruction work. The bridge's closure was initially planned for July but was extended into August due to the discovery of granite beneath the roadway. Despite the reopening, sections of University Drive remain closed or reduced to one lane in each direction until late October.
