3 Moroccan journalists pardoned, call for release of "prisoners of conscience" and new phase for rights and liberties in Morocco.

Three Moroccan journalists freed on royal pardons call for all "prisoners of conscience" release and a new phase for rights and liberties in Morocco. Omar Radi, Soulaimane Raissouni, and Taoufik Bouachrine, held for charges they deny, including sexual assault and espionage, were pardoned in July along with others on King Mohammed VI's 25th anniversary. The journalists urge the release of all political prisoners and see their own release as possibly marking a new phase in politics, journalism, human rights, and social struggles.
