Lerwick Lifeboat towed a German-registered yacht with water ingress to Lerwick harbor after a distress call.
Lerwick Lifeboat responded to a German-registered yacht in distress near Helli Ness, Cunningsburgh, after a distress call reporting water ingress below deck. The skipper was commended by Deputy Coxswain Tommy Goudie for contacting the coastguard. The lifeboat crew inspected the engine's cooling system, suspecting it as the cause of the issue, and towed the yacht to Lerwick harbour for repairs.
