Jackson State University's 2024 Move-in Day welcomed students for the fall semester, offering new off-campus housing options at the Walthall Lofts and on-campus living expansion. VP of Student Affairs, Jonas Vanderbilt, emphasized creating memorable experiences for students, a common trait of HBCUs. The university collaborated with Black Men United to provide dorm supplies, and hosted workshops and activities on Move-in Day. JSU has big plans for its upcoming homecoming event.
