Disney's D23 fan convention is set to reveal a $60bn capital investment plan for theme parks over the next decade, with a significant increase in spending to reimagine attractions at its 12 parks worldwide and increase cruise line capacity. The company aims to boost profits from parks, offsetting declines in TV and streaming segments. Disney CEO Bob Iger plans to spend $17bn at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, competing with Universal Studios' upcoming Epic Universe park.
