48-year-old man from Whycocomagh, Cape Breton, died after being struck by an eastbound 2017 Ford Axis on Highway 105 in Waycobah on Wednesday evening. The 84-year-old North Vancouver woman driving the vehicle was unharmed. The highway was closed for several hours, and the investigation is ongoing. No charges have been sworn, and names have not been released.
