20-year-old Joseph White arrested inside Walmart for allegedly attempting bank robbery.
20-year-old Joseph White was arrested by Palestine police inside a crowded Walmart store for allegedly attempting to rob the First Convenience Bank within the store. Officers were called at 3:41 p.m. and found White at the bank counter without weapons. He was charged with robbery, a second-degree felony, and was praised for their fast response and handling of the situation. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office also assisted with the call.
