32-year-old Jesika Jones was sentenced to 60 years in prison for poisoning her child with medications, including Benadryl, to induce seizure-like symptoms and claim her children had health issues such as seizures, cancer, and autism. Authorities believe Jones suffers from Munchausen by proxy, a mental health disorder where someone fakes illness in others. She pled guilty to four felonies, including one count of injury to a child with serious bodily injury and three counts of endangering a child.
