NIA arrests Sri Lankan national Seeni Aabulkhan in a three-year human trafficking case.
The NIA has arrested key accused Seeni Aabulkhan, a Sri Lankan national, in a human trafficking case after a three-year search. Aabulkhan and associates confined trafficked Sri Lankan victims on a boat before sending them to Mangaluru. The case began in June 2021 after 13 Sri Lankan nationals were rescued. The NIA charged ten accused, including three absconders, and continues to search for the remaining fugitives.
