1 in 100 million chance cotton candy lobster caught by Joseph Kramer and donated to Seacoast Science Center.
A rare "cotton candy" lobster with blue, pink, and purple hues was caught off the coast of New Hampshire by Joseph Kramer of Atlantic Lobster Company. The odds of catching such a lobster are 1 in 100 million, more rare than blue lobsters at 1 in 2 million. The unusual coloration makes the lobsters more visible to predators. Caught in late July, Kramer donated the lobster to the Seacoast Science Center in New Hampshire, where it can be safely observed and preserved.
