Network Rail upgraded a 16-mile north London railway stretch, including the Bakerloo and Overground lines, installing new cables and updating power systems to replace life-expired equipment. The $97.5m project, completed between Aug 3-8, aims to reduce delays and ensure smoother journeys in the future. TfL and Network Rail thanked passengers for their patience during the upgrades.
