This initiative, led by the Ministry of Agriculture, will prioritize affordable access to clean plant materials for all farmers, strengthening India's position as a global exporter and increasing its share in the international fruit trade. The programme will establish nine world-class Clean Plant Centres, fostering growth and sustainability in the horticulture sector, while promoting eco-friendly agricultural practices and reducing dependence on imported planting materials.
