The FAA awards $427m from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law for modernizing 245 US airports.

The US Department of Transportation's FAA awards $427m from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Airport Infrastructure Grants program to modernize 245 US airports, marking the second-largest investment in airport infrastructure grants. New Jersey is one of 39 states receiving funds, with 18 airports set for improvements. The FAA's Airport Improvement Program also allocates $636.1m in grants for airport improvements across 46 states and American Samoa, funding runway work and other infrastructure upgrades.
