19-yr-old Randhawa admits hit-and-run killing SA police chief's son, faces sentencing in SA District Court.

19-year-old Dhirren Singh Randhawa, who admitted to a hit-and-run crash killing Charlie Stevens, son of South Australia's police commissioner, will face sentencing in SA District Court. Randhawa pleaded guilty in June to aggravated driving without due care and leaving the scene. The more serious charge of causing death by dangerous driving was dropped as part of negotiations. The sentencing hearing, lasting around two hours, will involve multiple victim impact statements. Randhawa is due to reappear for sentencing submissions on October 3.
