Nags Head, NC first responders were honored for saving Clay White, a 64-year-old Virginia man who suffered a heart attack on June 9. The lifeguard staff and fire crew provided CPR and resuscitation, and Dare County EMS transported White to the hospital where he made a full recovery. The Nags Head Fire and Ocean Rescue team were awarded lifesaving awards and praised for their commitment and dedication.
