43-year-old Kimberly Medina, ex-PTO president of Moorefield Station Elementary School, has been charged with embezzling $83,200 from the school's PTO. The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office initiated their investigation after concerns were raised by the PTO board and school principal in December. Medina turned herself in and was released on her own recognizance. No public funds were stolen, and no other individuals were involved in the alleged embezzlement.
