21-year-old Colombian Fabian Medina Paira faces charges of attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, breach of peace, and living a vagrant life in connection with a stabbing incident at St Julian's beach, Malta. The 25-year-old female victim, who sustained two chest wounds, underwent surgery at Mater Dei hospital. Paira was arrested at a car park in Pembroke and a protection order was issued for the victim and her family.
