The 1.75 km, 800 mm diameter pipeline connects Mairangi Bay Pump Station to Rosedale Wastewater Treatment Plant, using horizontal drilling to minimize environmental impact and traffic disruptions. Future improvements to wastewater services in the area include investigating manholes, cleaning networks, and conducting CCTV inspections.
