20th-anniversary edition of Green Day's "American Idiot" album being reissued on Oct 25, including live recordings, B-sides, demos, and new documentary.
Green Day is set to release a 20th-anniversary edition of their 2004 album "American Idiot" on October 25th. The reissue comes in eight-LP and four-CD sets, each including two Blu-ray discs. The collection features the original album, B-sides, demos, and a live recording from a 2004 show at New York City's Irving Plaza. The Blu-rays contain the "Heart Like a Hand Grenade" concert film, live BBC recordings, and a new documentary titled "20 Years of American Idiot". Green Day is currently touring, playing "American Idiot" in full and also performing their 1994 album "Dookie" in its entirety to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
