Sinn Féin councillor Cathal King was fined £200 for driving under influence in Newry city centre. Caught with excess alcohol on his breath, King pleaded guilty in Newry Magistrates Court. He apologised for his actions and reported himself to the Local Government Commissioner for Standards.
