Richmond RCMP and Commercial Vehicle Safety Enforcement fined 5 illegal ride-hailing drivers $11,500 on July 24.
Richmond RCMP in British Columbia, Canada, along with the Transportation Ministry's Commercial Vehicle Safety Enforcement team, conducted a joint operation on July 24 to crack down on illegal ride-hailing services, fining five drivers a total of $11,500. The operation targeted unlicensed ride-hailing operators, and the fines included penalties for three repeat offenders. The Richmond RCMP continues its efforts to maintain traffic safety and uphold legal practices in transportation services.
