The New York Yankees acquired outfielder Cam Eden from the Toronto Blue Jays for cash considerations, strengthening their outfield depth. The 26-year-old, a 2019 sixth-round pick, has played 91 games at Triple-A Buffalo this season, hitting .198 with seven home runs and 35 RBIs. Eden, known for his speed, will be assigned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and may serve as a bench/pinch-running option in September or the postseason.
