A man with a white bandana attacked a woman's car near Cumberland, BC, and the Comox Valley RCMP are investigating.

A woman camping near Cumberland, BC, had a terrifying experience when a man wearing a white bandana over his face stopped his car, got out with an axe, and smashed her vehicle's windshield. The suspect is described as a medium-build male, 5-foot-7 or 5-foot-8, wearing a white baseball hat with no visible logo and a white bandana covering his face. He fled in a dark-colored, four-door, medium-sized sedan with no front license plate. Comox Valley RCMP are investigating and asking for witnesses or those with similar experiences to contact their detachment.
