A manufacturing defect results in the fuel delivery hose being installed incorrectly, causing it to come into contact with the engine oil level gauge bracket, which leads to premature wear. In the event of a damaged hose, fuel may leak, and in the presence of an external ignition source, a vehicle fire can occur. Isuzu will contact affected D-Max owners to schedule an appointment for inspection and hose replacement without charge.
