Ghana Shippers' Authority Law, recently amended, could transform Ghana's commercial shipping sector, according to CEO, Kwesi Baffour Sarpong. The new legislation aims to streamline shipping operations, enhance freight forwarding efficiency, and ensure alignment with international trade standards. Stakeholders, including GIFF, CUBAG, ACHAG, the Importers and Exporters Association of Ghana, and TAG, expressed their support for the implementation of the GSA's new law. The successful implementation of this law is expected to significantly enhance Ghana's economic growth as the country positions itself as a regional trade hub.
