EDF launches EV OptiCharge tariff trial, an automated smart charging service for electric vehicles. Up to 300 customers can reduce charging costs by setting preferences and having the system manage charging times overnight, lowering carbon emissions and grid pressure. The trial runs from October 2022 to February 2025 and is funded by £1.3 million from the Net Zero Innovation Portfolio.
