Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, co-creators of Phineas and Ferb, unveiled a teaser for the reboot at the 2024 D23 Expo, featuring a new musical sequence titled "Summer Starts Now" with returning characters Phineas, Ferb, Candace, and more. Season 5, set a year after Season 4, will see the return of half of the original writers and new ones who grew up with the show. A specific release date for the reboot has yet to be announced.
